FAMILY THERAPY
FAMILY THERAPY
Family therapy is a type of psychotherapy that can help family members improve communication and resolve conflicts. Family therapy can help you improve troubled relationships with your partner, children or other family members. Family therapy can be useful in times of crisis as well as with longstanding problems.

Family therapy typically brings several family members together for therapy sessions. However, family member's may also meet with the therapist individually, to explore more specific issues.

Sessions typically last 50 minutes to an hour. Family therapy is often short term — generally about 12 sessions. However, frequency and the number of sessions will depend on your family's particular situation and your therapist's recommendation. At Luxe Psychology Practice we draw upon evidence-based treatment approaches in order to succesfully meet your needs.
